Booking Policies & Conditions


DEPOSIT

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to book any service and secure appointment date. Prices are subject to change at any time until a deposit is received, once the deposit is received your rate is locked in.

PAYMENT

Payment is due in full on or before the day of the event and is payable by cash or e-transfer. This must be paid for before the artist or client leaves.

CANCELLATIONS

Services may be canceled at any time; however, your deposit is 100% non-refundable and cannot be put towards another booking in the future.

*COVID*: if the event is postponed due to COVID restrictions only, the deposit can be transferred to a new date in the future.*

Client is liable for the full remainder of the balance if cancelation of service is made less than 24 hours of the scheduled appointment. This policy also applies to guests of the client.

If the artist cancels at any time or is unable to perform her duties for any reason, 100% of the deposit paid will be refunded.

CLIENT DELAYS

A late fee of $25 will be charged for every 30 minutes of delay when a client or anyone in the client’s party is late for a scheduled appointment and if scheduled makeup/hair services exceed the allotted time due to client delays. This must be paid for before the artist or client leaves.
The artist reserves the right to cancel an appointment if the client delays 1 hour or more.

NO SHOW

If for any reason the client does not show up for the appointment or cancels upon arrival, client will be charged the remaining balance of the appointment.

TRAVEL & PARKING FEES

Complimentary mobile service is offered for Bridal Package bookings within the City of Toronto, a standard travel charge may apply for all other bookings.

Parking, valet, or toll fees must be paid by the client if applicable and will be added to the service total.

PRIOR TO THE APPOINTMENT

Please be prepared for your appointment – face must be freshly washed and clean of any makeup. If the client is receiving hair services, the hair should be clean, dry, and straightened.

SERVICE LOCATION

A clean table and an electric outlet will be needed to complete services. Please provide an area that gives enough space for both the artist and the client(s)

USE OF IMAGE

Photos taken will be posted at the artist’s discretion unless expressed otherwise.

LIABILITY

All brushes and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every makeup application.  Any skin conditions or allergies should be disclosed to the artist prior to the appointment. Client(s) agree to release the artist, Alysia Fernandes, from liability of any skin complications due to underlying/unknown allergies to products or tools used, or if the client develops any health issues relating to the makeup application during or afterward

THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

If the artist feels uncomfortable, threatened, or verbally abused in any way, she will have the right to leave the premises without completing services. If the artist feels that the client has any open facial wounds or a skin condition that could be infected or unsanitary, she has the right to refuse service to that client.
